Mohammad Amin Naadim

Mohammad Amin Naadim (born June 26, 1967) is an Afghanistan carpet artist and painter whose work bridges traditional Afghanistan craftsmanship with expressive visual storytelling. He began his artistic career in Pakistan in 1985, developing a distinctive style rooted in pictorial carpet weaving, cultural symbolism, and contemporary artistic expression.

After the Taliban regained power, he and his family were evacuated by the German government in April 2022. He has since been living in Berlin, continuing his artistic practice and participating in cultural exhibitions. Naadim is currently engaged in managing his artistic projects and teaching students in Afghanistan and Turkey through online instruction, continuing to expand his influence across borders.

Throughout his career, Naadim has contributed significantly to Afghanistan’s artistic community—training hundreds of students, designing cultural symbols, and representing Afghan art in international exhibitions. His work reflects resilience, identity, and the rich heritage of Afghan craftsmanship.
