Mohammad Eisa Jamal is a sociologist, researcher, and university lecturer with a Master’s degree in Sociology and extensive experience in higher education and social development. He has taught at respected Afghan universities, including Kateb University, and has worked with the Ministry of Education as a teacher trainer and master trainer.
He served as Head of Research at the Democracy Advocates Institute and collaborated with NATO in Herat—under Italian command—contributing as an Afghan sociologist to the feasibility study for the expansion of Herat International Airport. Jamal is also a committed civil society activist and advocate for women’s rights, democratic values, and social justice, frequently appearing on leading Afghan media outlets as an expert sociologist.
As a contemporary visual artist, Jamal explores emotion, memory, and social experience through expressive modern aesthetics. His paintings blend observation, symbolism, and personal narrative, creating works that reflect both inner worlds and collective realities. His artworks are showcased at Prism Gallery.Art.
